An update on my Gentoo System (for redmine), also build a new mysql version. Not necessary but, done by bind, causes a complete redmine get emails fault.
Now redmine_imap.sh from redmine to collect the mails from my imap account and move them into redmine failed with:

gem install mysql does not solve the problem.
gem install mysql — –with-mysql-config=/usr/bin/mysql_config
same problem. No change.
I have to remove the mysql.rb and mysql.so from my ruby 1.8 site directory.

Ab und an fängt es mit einer guten Idee an. Diese diskutiert man in einem bestimmten Kreis und teilt sich diesem mit. Ab und an ist es aber dann so, daß man nur Spot erntet, das diesmal absolut zurecht.

It is all in all not so éasy to release an open source product to the correct license and terms, that protects your rights and wishes in a comfortable way. Yes we want to give our software for free and open source away, but there are two important issues, they both really matter.
First we don´t want any forks. We have done the work and we want to have the full control over it. Security and Milestones should be discussed, but the final decision should be at our mind.
Second, nobody should remove our logo and the company name from the product. Fame is ours please :->
If you change software or sell it to a customer is equal. But don´t remove the name of the company who has done the work.
GPL is not possible, enables forks.
Closed Source is not an option.
Artistic License is not really working.
Is there someone out to help us?
Open source and free is a must, but no forks, no removeable logo !!!!
